So much of today's angling media is obsessed with the competition scene and the big waters down south that host many of the top competitions This is not what I am about at all, my fishing is for my relaxation and enjoyment and hopefully I can pass on some of the enthusiasm I have for the sport while helping you get out and have a go. I started fly fishing on the local rivers almost 20 years ago with limited success but high enjoyment. I then moved onto my local still water during the foot and mouth epidemic and found that this was a convenient route to getting my fix. I have tied flies for about 10 years now with it becoming more of an obsession and guarantee that you will enjoy no feeling better in this sport than taking fish with your own creations. I hope you can take away something worthwhile from this labour of love and I hope to bump into you somewhere casting a fly and enjoying your self. In the meantime I would be glad to hear how your fishing exploits are going, feel free to drop me a line using the contact us link at the bottom of the page.
